Al-Madina News: In Kuwait, an emiri order was issued to accept the resignation of Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-administration Sabah’s and to continue handling important problems until the new cabinet was formed.

According to the Kuwaiti News Agency, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was visited by Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace in the Hawalli Governorate, close to the capital, Kuwait, and presented with a letter of resignation from the government.
In compliance with the rules of the constitution, this resignation is being made after the official declaration of the outcomes of the National Assembly elections.

A regulation published in this regard states that the first session of the new National Assembly will take place on the 11th of this month.
The Kuwaiti constitution specifies that the government must resign following the publication of the results of the parliamentary elections, provided that it is established before to the start of Parliament.

And last Thursday saw the parliamentary elections, which saw a change rate of almost 54% as 20 deputies, including 3 ministers who the administration had picked and who were deputies to join it, left the previous parliament.
The former prime minister, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, resigned on July 24 as a result of his interrogation by Parliament, and Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah assumed office as the head of Kuwait’s new government.

According to a monitoring by the Anadolu Agency, the Al-Sabah administration is the forty-first since the creation of the first government in January 1962 and the fourth during the reign of his father, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the country’s Emir.
