In a village controlled by the Houthi militia in central Yemen’s Al-Hada District, two members of the same family were slain and two more were injured by a Houthi shooter.
According to local reports, a Houthi gunman by the name of Seif al-Daer opened fire on five persons in the al-Hada district, killing three of them and injuring two more.
It further stated that Sheikh Muqbil Nasser Al-Kathiri, his son Muhammad Muqbil Nasser Al-Kathiri, and Saleh Muhammad Saad Al-Kathiri were killed, while two other people were injured, one of them is in critical condition.
The cause and circumstances of the tragedy are yet unknown, she said, adding that it happened in the village of Al-Karaa Bani Bakhit in the Al-Hada District of the Dhamar Governorate.
The event occurs a day after a shooter killed five members of a single family in Al Mahwit Governorate, north of Sanaa, over a dispute about a piece of property.
As a result of the putschists’ interference in the operations of the governorates under the authority of the Houthi militia, there is a large increase in killings, a proliferation of weapons, and a lack of the judiciary.
