Palestine considers the execution of the young man Damdoum a continuation of the occupation’s policies of deliberate and arbitrary killing

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, on Saturday, viewed the heinous field execution by Israeli occupation forces of 18-year-old Fayez Khaled Damdom from the town of Al-Eizariya as a continuation of the occupation’s widespread and systematic policies, which include willful and arbitrary killings of our people outside the reach of the law in an effort to inflame the situation.

The ministry stressed that it will cooperate with all international legal organisations, the UN with its institutions, procedures, and special rapporteurs to document these crimes in order to hold the occupation accountable for all of its crimes, as well as the Israeli government, for this heinous crime and other crimes committed during the occupation, according to a statement carried by the Palestinian news agency “Wafa” this evening.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry further requested that the UN Secretary-General endeavour to activate the global protection network for our helpless people.
A Palestinian teenager was killed earlier today after being struck by live ammunition shot by Israeli occupation troops in the town of Al-Eizariya, southeast of Jerusalem. The occupation soldiers shot the young man, who was 18 years old, in the neck.

Local reports were cited by “Wafa” as saying that Damdom was shot in the neck and killed instantaneously by the occupation forces as he was riding his motorcycle close to the Al-Mourabitin Mosque in Al-Azariya.

According to Palestine, the premeditated and arbitrary killing practises of the occupation were continued with the execution of the young man Damdoum.
