First responders set to hold large-scale emergency exercise in Brampton

Peel Region’s first responders will simulate a major incident in Brampton.
Brampton Fire, Mississauga Fire, and Peel paramedics will train handling large-scale, complex incidents on Saturday, according to Peel Regional Police.
To test local emergency response procedures, more than 100 volunteers will participate in the situation.

“Working together with our emergency response partners to hone our collective ability to respond to large-scale and complex situations is a critical pillar of Peel Regional Police’s strategic plan,” Peel Regional Police said.
The emergency drill is scheduled to happen at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School in Brampton between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
