According to Indonesian media, disturbances that occurred during a football game resulted in 180 injuries and 127 fatalities.
The rioting at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, according to the publication “Detikjatim,” left 127 Arima club supporters dead, including two police officers, as reported by Russia Today.
East Java Police Chief Nico Aventa informed reporters that “127 persons were slain,” including two police officers.

The remaining deaths occurred in hospitals as a result of the rescue effort, he continued, while 34 individuals perished at the stadium.
The chaos allegedly started when fans invaded the stadium following their team’s defeat to Persibaya, according to Indonesian media.
When tear gas was shot at the stands to try to disperse the crowd of people storming the stadium, the spectators panicked and began jogging swiftly, which made the situation worse and the number of fatalities rose.
