The US President stressed that Washington will not recognise the “false referendums” organised by Moscow in Ukraine, saying that “(Russian President Vladimir Putin) cannot acquire neighbouring lands and get away with it.”
While reiterating that Washington will continue to back Kiev militarily, Biden emphasised that the United States and its allies “will not fear Putin and his remarks… and his actions are evidence that he is suffering.
Do not misread my (Putin’s) comments. NATO will defend every square inch of its territory, the US president added.
In reference to the current energy crisis, Biden stated that “The targeting of Nord Stream was a purposeful act of sabotage,” adding that “Washington is working with its friends to reach the truth of what happened.”
