The annexation of Ukrainian territory by Russia, she continued, “is a hazardous escalation for peace and stability.”
In front of parliamentarians and regional representatives, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the annexation of 4 Ukrainian territories to Russia.
The takeover of Crimea by Russia was denounced by the West as a “violation of the United Nations Charter,” and it was emphasised that they “will never acknowledge it.”
“We send a message to Moscow that the world continues to preserve sovereignty,” said the US representative to the Security Council.
