The Russian Embassy in Washington condemns Sullivan’s statements regarding the “Northern Stream” incident

The US National Security Advisor’s comments regarding the attacks on the North Stream pipelines carrying Russian gas were denounced by the Russian Embassy in Washington as an example of Russia being demonised.

“These assertions, in addition to Sullivan’s attempt to steer the opinion that there are supposed threats of physical and electronic attacks on Western infrastructure by Russia,” the embassy stated, adding that such statements are unfounded.

The embassy added that this approach raises unpleasant questions about who stands to gain from halting collaboration between Moscow and Europe in the energy sector due to Washington’s Russia-phobia and the US government’s attempt to sway public opinion.
The US National Security Advisor stated on Friday that the US government does not feel that any of the NATO nations are to blame for the North Stream gas pipeline tragedy.

The words made by Sullivan regarding the “Northern Stream” incident are condemned by the Russian Embassy in Washington.
