Sweden re-authorizes arms exports to Turkey

After Turkey agreed to Sweden’s membership in NATO, the Swedish government once again approved the transfer of weapons and military hardware to that country, according to an announcement made today, Friday. The Turkish government must approve the Western military.
It is interesting that Sweden and Finland formally submitted two bids to join “NATO” in May of last year, marking the organization’s most significant growth in decades.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, emphasised Ankara’s opposition to the two nations joining the alliance, citing their stance on “terrorism.”
Turkey accuses the two nations of housing KWP members as well as those connected to the Fethullah Gulen network, a US-based imam who is suspected of orchestrating the failed coup attempt in Turkey in 2016.
