Putin calls on Kyiv to “stop hostilities” .. and NATO: Russia is practicing a dangerous escalation of the crisis with Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the West today, Friday, of refusing to give up its own agendas at the expense of other parties in the international community, while accusing NATO (NATO) Russia is engaged in a dangerous escalation of the crisis with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the regime in Ukraine to “stop hostilities” and return to the negotiating table.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, urged the Kyiv government to immediately halt hostilities and resume talks from Moscow.
According to what was published by the Russian “TASS” news agency, the Russian President said in a speech he gave today before the signing ceremony for the accession of new regions to the Russian Federation that Moscow has frequently declared its openness for dialogue.

The President emphasised that nations who refuse to cede their sovereignty to the West are targeted for destruction by the West.

Explaining why it is crucial for the West that all nations cede their sovereignty to the United States, he claimed that some nations’ ruling elites accept becoming vassals while others are coerced into doing so by being bought off or intimidated. He emphasises that the West “does not care about it, they just want to reap their profits,” adding that if they don’t buy them, the West would demolish entire nations and leave behind humanitarian catastrophes, debris, and broken lives.

He emphasised that the West doesn’t want Russia to be free; rather, it wants to be its colony and said that because of this, “our thought and philosophy offer a direct challenge to them, and for this reason they target our thinkers and our culture because they pose a threat to them.” That is why they want to outlaw it (Russian culture), and it also poses a threat to their development and well-being.

The West refused to change course and stop pursuing its own objectives at the expense of other members of the international community, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

The Russian minister made the statement in a speech before a meeting of CIS security and intelligence leaders in Moscow. “The collective West led by the United States does not intend to abandon its path towards ensuring global hegemony and work to achieve its own goals at the expense of the interests of other members of the international community,” the minister said.

According to what was reported by the Russian “TASS” news agency, the top Russian ambassador called the latest Western strategy a “neo-colonial policy.”
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated in Brussels that the Russian-Ukrainian situation has escalated as a result of Russia’s increased army buildup and illegitimate annexation of portions of Ukraine.

In a news conference televised by the American “CNN” channel, the Secretary-General of NATO added that the actions represent “the most dangerous escalation of the war since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine last February.”

“Hundreds of thousands of extra troops have been gathered by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has also made reckless nuclear threats and illegally grabbed more Ukrainian territory, which together represent the most dangerous escalation since the war’s start,” Stoltenberg said. Weakly. and that Putin is solely to blame for starting that war, and it is up to him to put an end to it.

In response, the Group of Seven industrialised nations vehemently denounced Russia’s annexation of four areas of Ukraine and vowed to retaliate further.
In a statement quoted by the English-language channel “France 24,” the group’s foreign ministers declared, “We will never acknowledge this bogus annexation, nor the phoney referendum that took place at gunpoint.

The statement continued, “We will impose additional economic costs on Russia and on people and organisations, both inside and outside of Russia, who offer political and financial support to these violations of international law.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis declared today in Athens that his country will never acknowledge the illegitimate acquisition of Ukrainian territory.

In a message on his official Twitter account, the Greek Prime Minister stated that “Greece and the European Union stand solidly with Ukraine” and that “Russia is undermining the rules-based international order and violating Ukraine’s basic rights to independence and sovereignty.”

Mitsotakis retweeted a tweet from the European Council in which it was stated: “We strongly reject and unambiguously condemn the unlawful annexation by Russia of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions of Ukraine.”
The Russian action was referred to in a prior Greek Foreign Ministry statement as “Unlawful, invalid, and a blatant violation of international law.

“Earlier today at the Kremlin headquarters, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements to annex 4 districts of Ukraine to his nation, declaring, “For the sake of Great Russia, I proclaim the annexation of 4 Ukrainian regions to our country.

“From September 23 to September 27, Russia held referendums to annex 4 regions of Ukraine under its control to the Russian Federation (Donetsk and Luhansk in the east, Kherson and Zaporozhye in the south), and the overwhelming majority of the populace voted in favour of doing so. While declaring that referendums are against international law, Kiev and Western countries disagree.

Putin urges on Kyiv to “end hostilities” and warns NATO that Russia is escalating the conflict with Ukraine in a potentially hazardous manner.
