Tehran protests over the passing of Mahsa Amini
There were numerous fatalities in the Sistan Baluchestan province of southwest Iran as a result of Iranian security forces suppressing Baluch protests following Mahsa Amini’s murder.
Hussain Khayabani, the governor of the area, reported that “19 persons were killed and 20 others were injured in the incident,” however Baloch activists stated that 80 people had died.
