For the third month in a row, the UAE reduces fuel prices in parallel with international prices

In line with global prices, the UAE’s Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee resolved to lower the cost of gasoline and diesel during the month of October 2022.
A litre of “98” super gasoline costing 3. 41 dirhams in September was cut to 3. 03 dirhams in October, and a litre of “95” gasoline costing 3. 30 dirhams in September was decreased to 2. 92 dirhams in October.
A litre of E-Plus “91” gasoline costing 3 fils less now costs 1.

The cost of a litre of diesel reduced by 11 fils from 3. 87 dirhams in September to 3. 76 dirhams in October, a decrease of 22 dirhams from September to 2. 85 dirhams.
Since the new price includes a 5% value-added tax, the fuel distribution businesses published the new prices. The new rates went into effect on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

After accounting for the operating expenses of the distribution businesses, the fuel price criteria issued by the Ministry of Energy are determined on a monthly basis in accordance with the average world oil prices, up or down.

The UAE lowers fuel prices in line with global pricing for the third consecutive month.
