Putin: The citizens of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye have chosen to join Russia and this is their right

According to Russia Today, the signing of the accords granting these four territories membership in the Russian Federation was a historic occasion that millions of people in the Donbass, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions had been looking forward to.

The population of Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye took the decision to join Russia, and this is their right. The right to self-determination of peoples is essential, and our forefathers defended these regions, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Our predecessors have protected these territories since Yekaterina the Great, and our ancestors fought for these regions in World War II. These regions were guarded by our courageous heroes, the heroes of Russia, some of them paid with their lives,” Putin added.
According to Putin, the decisions made by the millions of people in these regions will determine our common future and destiny, and no one will be able to take those feelings away from us.

Putin emphasised, “We will reclaim all of our territory, protect our people with all of our resources, build those places, and offer a decent, secure living throughout all of Russia.
Putin stated, “Kyiv must accept the decision made by the people of the republics of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye areas. We invite Kyiv to engage in negotiations, but we will not broach the subject of the people’s decision.

As Putin noted, “The masks of the West, which attempted to split Russia into warring peoples in 1991, have fallen.” Neo-colonialism is a strategy that the West is pursuing to rule the world and topple governments.
He also made clear that the West’s primary objective is to further its ideology and way of thinking. Russia is not something the West needs, but we do.

The West has stopped all accords and pacts due to its double standards, and it is now separating the world into “the civilised world,” “the rest of the world,” and “a first world.” The West always claims that it upholds and defends order and laws, but where did these rules originate? Double standards that are foolproof.

“We are pleased that we were part of the worldwide struggle to liberate peoples and governments during the twentieth century,” the Russian president continued, “and our culture is built on the religions of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism and is based on the Russian idea and word.”
He emphasised that the United States of America is still spying on the leaders of South Korea, Japan, and Germany.

Only 5% of the bread produced in Ukraine, according to Putin, is sent to developing nations.
He continued by saying that when the West talks about “deterrence,” what it really means is opposition to any centre pursuing independent growth.
He accused the Anglo-Saxons of destroying the North Stream pipes to carry Russian gas and claimed that the bombing of the “North Stream” pipeline is a destruction of Europe’s energy infrastructure, and it is obvious who is the benefit.

Putin continued, “Everyone who complains about the energy crisis describes him as “the enemy of the people” and they attach this crisis to Russia’s peg. The West resolved its crisis in the Great Depression of World War II, as well as the crisis of the 1980s of the twentieth century, with the resources of the collapsed Soviet Union.

Do we Russians prefer calling our parents “Parent Number 1” and “Parent Number 2” rather than “mother” and “father”?
According to Putin, a new multipolar period in which nations protect their independence, will, and aspirations for progress is beginning.

We are safeguarding ancient Russia, the culture and civilisation of our ancestors, and the future of our descendants as we struggle against demands, the uniqueness of the West, and for our autonomous path.

Putin: It is the right of the people of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye to join Russia.
