Gov. Evers visits U.W. campuses around the state

(WBAY) – Green Bay, Wisconsin On Thursday, roundtable conversations with students were held at the University of Wisconsin campuses in Green Bay, La Crosse, and Whitewater. Governor Tony Evers.
They have the opportunity to question the governor about contemporary problems like police presence in schools and student debt.
According to Governor Evers, resources allocated to kids have diminished over time, and he intends to invest in their education.

Evers remarked, “I was particularly surprised with the seriousness they were talking about how money affected their life. “You know, does having a flat tyre mean they have to leave school because they can’t afford to fix it? That served as a helpful reminder for me as we created the new budget to allocate enough funding for our colleges.
The governor participated in the discussions with members of the college leadership.

On November 8, Evers will be vying for a second term.

Gov. Evers travels to various UW campuses across the state.
