MacKenzie Scott, a multimillionaire philanthropist and author who was formerly wed to Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, has filed for divorce from her second husband.
According to court papers, Scott filed for divorce from teacher Dan Jewett on Monday, according to the New York Times.
Jewett and Scott got hitched in March 2021. Jewett worked as a teacher at a Seattle school where Scott and Bezos’ kids went to school.
2019 saw the divorce of Bezos and Scott, with Scott collecting roughly $38 billion in the settlement.
Since then, she has donated a sizable portion of her income to charity, especially those that support affordable housing.
