Fouad Hussein, the foreign minister of Iraq, made this point clear to Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, during a meeting.
The progress of bilateral relations and ways to deepen them were topics of discussion between the Iraqi foreign minister and Al-Shammari. This was done in light of the two countries’ strong and serious commitment to doing so, as well as the benefits it will bring to the interests of the two brotherly peoples and the variety of sources of cooperation and partnership at all levels.
The Iraqi minister emphasised, as reported by the news outlet (Alsumaria News) today, the necessity of monitoring the development of the talks he had with his Saudi counterpart in New York last week, outside of the General Assembly meetings of the UN. .
