Harry and Meghan’s rank downgraded to the royal position after the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Prince Harry and Megan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been demoted to the bottom of the royal family’s rank alongside Prince Andrew, who was forced to resign from his royal duties as a result of a sex scandal, in a recent move that may enrage them.

Prior to this, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s pages were linked to in the centre of the page, below the senior royals and above the younger members of the family, according to the British Daily Mail.

After the Queen’s passing earlier this month, however, the page was refreshed, and Harry and Meghan were now listed underneath Princess Alexandra and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Prince Michael of Kent and his wife Mary Christine, who are both royals, have since been completely deleted from the page.

It happens at a time when King Charles is reported to have planned a “lightweight” monarchy throughout his reign because he felt the people was unwilling to foot the rising costs of the royal family.
The late Queen Elizabeth II’s cousins Princess Alexandra, Duke of Kent, and Duke of Gloucester have continued to be active members and have remained on the website.

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Harry and Meghan’s standing was demoted to that of a royal couple.
