Goalkeeper Martin Parra of Universidad de Chile suffered an ear damage while recuperating in the hospital after being struck by explosives on Wednesday during a Chilean Football Cup match against nearby rival Universidad Católica.
The cameras caught the moment three fireworks went off close to Barra, 22, who collapsed to the ground and covered his ears before being carried away on a stretcher to a hospital in Santiago.

After Cattolica tied the match at 1-1 in the second leg of the quarterfinals due to the incident, the match was called off after just four minutes.
