As part of the upcoming round of fresh sanctions the European Union seeks to impose on Russia, President of the Commission Ursula von der Leyen revealed today, Wednesday, that the EU is trying to put a ban on imports of Russian goods worth 7 billion euros for another year.
The chairman of the EU Commission made no clarifications regarding the new products that will be banned, according to the European Union’s news observatory, which broke the news.

The Commission’s chair announced that a restriction on the export of high-tech objects with dual uses was also being considered.
However, the European News Observatory said that those who assist Russia in evading EU sanctions will now be subject to asset freezes and travel bans as part of the new blacklists.

The European Union wants to ban 7 billion euro worth of Russian goods.
