Because of a dog, an American court compensates a Saudi girl with 3 thousand dollars

A US court in Texas awarded a Saudi girl 3,000 dollars and fined an American dog trader 5,000 dollars after he sold her a sick puppy with bogus health paperwork.
The plaintiff filed a case against a dog seller who maintains an internet business, according to court documents in Sugar Land City, Texas.

The girl paid $800 for a Chihuahua breed dog (4 months old) from an internet retailer and gained medical documents indicating that he was disease-free and had had all necessary health examinations and certificates.

The plaintiff went on to say, “After a few days of his presence with her, he began to display bad health indications and began to pursue health insurance procedures for him, and following investigation, it appeared that he was suffering from parasites, pneumonia, and a birth defect.”

The court ordered the vendor to refund $800 to the plaintiff and reward her with $3,000 in exchange for caring for the dog for the last two months, while the defendant was fined $5,000 and warned to close his business permanently if the infraction occurred again.
