Sudan.. 7 dead in the Roseires clashes.. and the return of the curfew

Local officials in Sudan’s Blue Nile area confirmed that seven persons were murdered in yesterday’s events in the city of Roseires.
Following the incidents at Quneis and the Taiba complex in Roseires, 23 persons were injured, according to a statement published by the region’s security committee.

According to the statement, the committee conducted an emergency meeting in the government secretariat, which mandated the reintroduction of the curfew at eight o’clock at night, the prohibition of gatherings unless absolutely necessary, and the establishment of an investigating committee.
The message went on to claim that violence resumed this morning in the city of Umm Darfa (City 7) south of Roseires, leaving losses and injuries, but that the armed forces intervened and the situation is now stable in the city.

The causes for the outbreak of events are not yet known, according to the statement.
