Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra will undertake an official visit to Mali on Thursday.
The three-day visit is being organised at the invitation of Malian Foreign Minister Abdallah Diop.
Lamamra will lead the Algerian delegation to the eighteenth session of the joint strategic committee between Algeria and Mali, which is part of the two countries’ joint periodic political consultations, as well as the sixth session of the follow-up committee to the peace and reconciliation agreement signed in Algeria in 2015.
During this visit, the Algerian Foreign Minister is also expected to meet with a number of Malian authorities to discuss bilateral relations as well as a variety of matters of mutual concern.
On August 8, the Algerian Foreign Minister met with his Malian counterpart at the Algerian Foreign Ministry offices in the capital, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure a successful transition period in the Republic of Mali.

Algeria’s Foreign Minister will travel to Mali on official business tomorrow.
