California tops the ranking of “most infected” with monkeypox virus in the United States

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US reported that a total of 17,432 cases of monkeypox had been reported throughout several states.
3,291 cases of infection, according to the American Center, were reported in California alone.

New York came in second with 3,124 cases, followed by Florida with 1,739 cases, Texas with 1,472 cases, and Georgia with 1,299 cases.
The most common way for monkeypox to spread is through close physical contact with the infected rash or bodily fluids.
Additionally, it can spread by physical touch or prolonged face-to-face contact from respiratory secretions.

In terms of the number of Americans with monkeypox virus infection, California tops the list.
