The UAE has launched a welcoming programme for Haya card holders, which is meant for supporters of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
The action is part of the UAE’s support for Qatar’s bid to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by welcoming guests to the tournament and enabling them to enter the UAE.
According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Ports Security, the programme comprises issuing a visa to enter and live in the UAE for a total time of up to /90/ days from the date of issue, with a price reduction of 100 dirhams only for the whole term and paid once.
The authorities further stated that Haya card holders can enter the UAE by applying for this visa from November 1, 2022, since it enables multiple entries and exits from the UAE throughout its validity term.
The authority explained that visa beneficiaries can extend the period to an additional 90 days by paying the fees due in accordance with the terms and controls set by the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Port Security, whereas citizens of countries exempted from visas to enter the UAE are exempt from the controls shown, where they can enter and reside in the UAE according to the procedures currently in place.
How to Obtain a Visa
The authority has been eager to provide a simple and accessible method for holders of the Haya card to secure a visa for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The application procedure is simplified by visiting the authority’s website /WWW. ICP. GOV. AE/ and selecting this visa from the list of public services, and then submitting the application. Fill in the application data with the basic data as well as the Haya card data, attach the appropriate papers, and pay the costs.
The application can be filed from anywhere in the world.
The visa is valid for multiple trips to the nation for 90 days from the date of issuance, and it can be extended for another 90 days subject to usual restrictions and costs.
Tourist permits are issued by the UAE to World Cup fans in Qatar.
