According to CNN, Rafael Grossi, the director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, visited Kiev and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The International Atomic Energy Agency’s party of 14 experts, who will visit the Zaporozhye nuclear power station, has reportedly arrived in Kyiv, according to the network.
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organisations in Vienna, confirmed that the mission includes a team of United Nations personnel who handle logistics and security issues along with about ten members of the International Atomic Energy Agency secretariat who deal with nuclear safeguards and safety issues.
