World Cup 2022.. Saudi Arabia grants fans multiple entry visas to its lands

Saudi Arabia has announced that it will give multiple-entry permits to all holders of the Haya card for FIFA World Cup supporters travelling to neighbouring Qatar at the end of the year.
The World Cup finals will be hosted in the Arab world and the Middle East for the first time this year, from November 20 to December 18.
The Haya Fan card is a personal identity document required for supporters to attend football wedding matches.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday evening that holders of a Haya fan card would be able to enter the Kingdom 10 days before the start of the World Cup after receiving an electronic visa.
She said that holders of an entrance visa can stay in the Kingdom for 60 days, stressing that it enables multiple entries and exits throughout the visa’s validity term.

The Saudi government has decided to revitalise its tourist and hospitality industries.
In September 2019, Saudi Arabia began issuing electronic entry visas to nationals of 49 countries.
During the World Cup, Qatar expects 1.2 million visitors.

With the rising demand for accommodation and hotels for hundreds of thousands of spectators, Saudi and Kuwait airlines, Fly Dubai, and Oman Air will fly more than 160 daily flights beginning November 20 to and from Doha to watch the matches.
The Gulf governments agreed to make administrative procedures easier for fans passing via their borders.

Saudi Arabia allows supporters numerous admission passes to its territory for the 2022 World Cup.
