Claudio Descalzi, the head of the Italian company Eni, expressed his pride in the discoveries made under President Abdel Fattah El-leadership Sisi’s and careful personal follow-up; this had a significant impact on the speed of the company’s success in producing Egyptian natural gas, making Egypt currently one of the main regional countries in the energy production and export sector at a time when the world is witnessing a severe crisis in this field.
This occurred today, Tuesday, at President Sisis’ reception with Claudio Descalzi, CEO of the Italian Petroleum Business, Eni, and a number of company executives, in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Engineer Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
The conference, according to Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, focused on a review of the company’s existing and future operations in Egypt in the domains of exploration and production, as well as collaboration in the sphere of renewable energy projects.
Egypt is a major regional producer and exporter of energy, according to the president of Italy’s Eni.
