Norway: Allocating $200 million to supply Ukraine with natural gas

Norway announced a $1 billion aid package for Ukraine on Monday, including $200 million going toward natural gas.
According to TASS, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store stated today, Monday, that these monies are part of the previously announced $1 billion Norwegian aid package to Ukraine during the international conference ONS-2022 in the Norwegian city of Stanford.

The Norwegian Prime Minister stated that Ukraine approached Norway for assistance in gaining access to energy supplies, and Norway proposed using two billion kroner in financial aid to purchase natural gas from Kyiv in the fall and winter.
The gas will first be used to heat hospitals and schools, according to Jar Store, and payments will be handled through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Norway is allocating $200 million to deliver natural gas to Ukraine.
