Macron holds a meeting of the French Defense Council to discuss the country’s energy crisis

On Friday, September 2, French President Emmanuel Macron will convene the French Defense and Security Council to examine the country’s deteriorating energy situation.
According to BFMTV, the conference will focus on gas shortages and a rise in energy rates before winter.
Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire, and Minister of Energy Conversion Agnes Pannier Ronachette will also attend the conference.
