Amid European anticipation, Russia stops gas flows through Nord Stream for 3 days

According to data from the energy market information site Seberger, the Russian gas giant Gazprom will shut down gas flows in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline to Germany for three days for maintenance, raising concerns in Europe that gas pumping may not restart on schedule or at the needed pace.
According to the statistics, the flow halt will begin at 0100 GMT on August 31 and last until 0100 GMT on September 3rd.

Gazprom, which is owned by the Kremlin, has already limited gas supplies via the Baltic Sea pipeline to Germany to 20% of capacity owing to “technical issues.”
Other pipelines’ gas shipments have also dropped since Russia committed soldiers to Ukraine on February 24.
Today, Tuesday, flows via Nord Stream 1 were constant at around 20% of capacity.

In the midst of European expectation, Russia suspends gas shipments through Nord Stream for three days.
