Romelu Lukaku threatens to miss Milan derby due to injury

Inter Milan declared the absence of its Belgian international, Romelu Lukaku, owing to an injury, to confirm his absence from previous matches, before the Cremonese encounter tomorrow in the Italian League’s fourth round.
Inter Milan’s loanee from Chelsea has played three games in the Italian league but has already had to withdraw owing to a thigh injury received yesterday.

According to Inter Milan’s official statement, the 28-year-old underwent medical tests that verified a left thigh muscle damage.
Inter Milan said that his fitness would be checked again next week, keeping him out of Milan’s next encounter, the Milan derby on Saturday.
The Belgian striker will almost certainly miss Inter’s first Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich next week.

Inter will play six games before the end of September, four in the Italian League and two in the Champions League.
In a same vein, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi admitted that the Lazio encounter, which finished with the latter’s 3-1 victory in the third round of the Italian League, was fairly balanced, while emphasising that his men lacked attention in the last touch.
Luis Alberto’s goal transformed the game, according to Inzaghi at the news conference.

We had a terrific opportunity when the score was 1-1, and we should have focused more on the last touches.
He went on to say, “The first half was fine, but we needed more bravery,” since “courage makes the difference in these balanced matchups.”
