Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Gabonese Barcelona star, was attacked during a house burglary. It was also alleged that the robbers broke into Aubameyang’s home in the Castelldefels region when he was at home with his wife and two children.
Aubameyang and his wife said they were chained and forced to unlock their safe by the burglars.
Aubameyang, a former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund player, was reportedly beaten, but Barcelona stated that the player and his family are well.
It is thought that the burglars took jewellery from Aubameyang’s home during the match in which the player sat on the bench during Barcelona’s 4-0 victory over Valladolid on Sunday evening.
Aubameyang was assaulted during a house invasion in Barcelona.
