Taliban accuses Pakistan of allowing violations of Afghan airspace

The Taliban leadership stressed the importance of Pakistan not allowing its airspace to be used against Afghanistan and stated that US drones are entering Afghanistan through Pakistan.
Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqoub Mujahid, the Taliban government’s minister of defence, stated during a press conference that Pakistan should not allow the use of its airspace against Afghanistan since US drones reach Afghanistan through Pakistan.

He said that the helicopters transported to neighbouring countries during the previous administration’s overthrow belonged to Afghans.
The army now has 150,000 personnel, and work is continuously being done in this regard, according to Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqoub Mujahid.

And Abizaid: Unrelenting efforts continue to improve the army’s effectiveness and extend its military capabilities, and the units of the Afghan Islamic Army are capable of protecting the country’s sovereignty and independence.
