Ukrainian president calls on Russian forces to leave Zaporizhia nuclear power plant

Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Russian forces attempted to cut off the Zaporizhia nuclear facility from the Ukrainian electricity grid but were unable to do so. The Ukrainian president reiterated his demand that the Russian forces vacate the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.

According to what Ukrainian media reported Zelensky as saying, Zelensky emphasised that Russia does not consider negotiation at all to end hostilities and that his country will regain the Crimea by any methods, which we feel correct without considering other countries.
According to news reports from throughout the world, the UN Security Council will meet today, Tuesday, to consider the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant issue at Russia’s request.

The largest nuclear power facility in Europe, Zaporozhye in Ukraine, was invaded by Russian soldiers in March. Multiple bombings of the plant in recent weeks have stoked worries of a nuclear meltdown. Russia and Ukraine each laid blame for the attacks on the plant.

Russian military are urged to quit the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant by the president of Ukraine.
