Sources talk about declaring a state of maximum alert in Baghdad’s military units, and the police chief denies

All military sectors in the Iraqi city of Baghdad have been placed on maximum alert, according to reports from Iraqi security officials today, Tuesday. The police chief in Baghdad refuted these reports.
Major General Majid Faleh Al-Moussawi, the commander of the Baghdad Police, disputed that the forces had gone into alert today, Tuesday. There is no truth to the rumours that the units went into alarm, he declared.

The media also reported previous information on the declaration of a state of high alert for all military sectors in the capital, Baghdad, citing Iraqi security sources.

The police head disputes reports that Baghdad’s military troops have been placed on highest alert.
