In turn, the Ministry of Health explained – in a statement today – that face masks will be optional in private transportation such as taxis, school buses and private bus services.

The ministry pointed out that the number of new infections with the Corona virus in Singapore has decreased significantly since late July, and a decrease in the number of people hospitalized in hospitals has been recorded by half.
