Russian Foreign Ministry: America’s position on the murder of Daria Dugin distorts its human rights activities

According to Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian foreign ministry, the US State Department’s response to the murder of journalist and activist Daria Dugina damages the standing of Washington’s global human rights initiatives.

According to the Russian TASS news agency, the Russian diplomat claimed on her Telegram channel that the response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the murder of Daria Dugina and the evidence presented by Russia showing the effects of Ukraine distort the international activity of the United States in the field of human rights.

If the murder of the journalist is not even mentioned from this side, which is highly significant for the American side, Washington has no moral right (much alone no legal basis) to speak about human rights in distant areas of the world. They merely failed to realise that it was a public event.
