Russia has demanded that the Security Council convene tomorrow to discuss the Zaporizhia nuclear project, according to an urgent report carried by Al-Arabiya TV.
Earlier, local officials in Zaporizhia reported on Monday that a civilian had died and another had been injured as a result of the Ukrainian assault of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant region.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of Russia’s Zaporizhzhya Provincial Administration Council, told Russia Today that Ukrainian soldiers bombarded the Zaporozhye nuclear complex, killing one civilian and wounded another.
The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, located near Energograd, is presently under Russian army control.
Russia has requested that the Security Council meet tomorrow to discuss the issue of the Zaporizhia nuclear site.
