“OPEC crude oil” has surpassed the $99 threshold.

According to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the average price of 13 crudes produced by member countries surpassed $99 per barrel.
Furthermore, OPEC said today, Monday, in a bulletin that the price of its basket of oil rose to 99. 66 dollars a barrel last Friday, up from 98. 22 dollars the day before.
The annual rate of the basket price was $69.89 per barrel in 2021, up from $41.47 per barrel in 2020.

The OPEC reference crude basket contains 13 crudes, one for each of the organization’s member states’ main export oil.

The price of OPEC crude oil has crossed the $99 mark.
