Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, was eager to engage in dialogue with the young people attending the Third Logos Youth Forum 2022, and met with them today at the government headquarters in El Alamein, with the honour of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
Mark; in the presence of Ambassador Suha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, as well as a number of bishops and A young man from northern Florida, USA, had a question on Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s ideas about the characteristics of a good leader. The Prime Minister responded to this issue by saying, “A successful leader must have a clear strategic vision that is translated into real solutions.”
The most important thing is to choose a team that can successfully implement these goals, emphasising that a strong leader cannot accomplish business alone.
He went on to say that once a successful leader confirms the implementation of the aforementioned steps, he must monitor what has been accomplished on the ground on a daily basis, emphasising that the most difficult challenge the leader can face is selecting the appropriate human cadres, including junior employees, whose efficiency is dependent on them. Either the assignment is accomplished successfully or the work is hampered by inefficiency.
The Prime Minister went on, A competent leader continuously examines work plans and what has been completed, and corrects what he sees as a mistake if he discovers it, emphasising that a good manager is one who develops excellent managers, while a bad manager is one who does not delegate jobs to others.
In this regard, the Prime Minister stated that the Egyptian state was previously able to rely on youth ministers in their forties or fifties, which did not occur before to 2011.
Madbouly: In the past, the Egyptian government was successful in relying on youthful ministers.
