Salah now has 9 goals against Manchester United, which he shares with Steven Gerrard, a former Liverpool player and current Aston Villa coach.
Salah is also seeking to become the second player in Liverpool history to score in four consecutive Premier League matches against Manchester United, behind Dick Furshaw in 1925-1926 and 1926-1927.
Salah now ranks third in Liverpool’s Premier League scoring list, after only Robbie Fowler (128 goals) and Steven Gerrard (120 goals).
Salah has only scored one goal in the English Premier League this season, which came in the first round against Fulham.
