Eto’o suggests African sides for the World Cup in Qatar.

Cameroonian and African football legend Samuel Etoo believes that one of the African nations playing in the World Cup finals in Qatar will win the tournament.
Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon will be among the five African countries playing in the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

During an interview with Ghana’s TV3, Etoo responded to a question on African countries’ chances of winning the Qatar World Cup by stating, “Why not?” Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia, and Cameroon are all excellent footballing countries.
He went on to say that a few years ago, Ghana was on the verge of reaching the World Cup semi-finals. When I say it’s conceivable, I really mean it (an African team won the World Cup). I am African, and I want my continent to be at the top at all times.

Only three African countries have reached the World Cup quarterfinals: Cameroon in Italy in 1990, Ghana in South Africa in 2010, and Senegal in the 2002 joint tournament between Japan and South Korea.

Eto’o recommends African teams for the World Cup in Qatar.
