Gizmo According to China, Apple is working on adding a new feature to the Maps programme that does not present in the Google Maps application, but this feature will not delight customers since the company will begin inserting advertisements in the mobile application.

According to Bloomberg’s most current reports and news, writer Mark German, who is interested in Apple news, revealed that Apple’s engineering team has already began working on software to allow search commercials, and that users might begin seeing advertisements in the app as early as next year.

Apple has already tested an internal version of the Maps app with advertising in search, and this would not be the first Apple product to feature commercials, since the App Store already does.
Developers may pay Apple to have their product prioritised in search results, guaranteeing that it shows at the top of the page when users search for specified terms.

Similar to search adverts on Maps, business owners will be able to pay Apple to have their locations appear first among local shop results when users input specific keywords.
This announcement comes as Apple prepares to increase its advertising revenue. Apple’s ad income is now approximately $4 billion per year, but Todd Teresi, Apple’s head of this division, intends to grow that amount to at least $10 billion per year.
