Gantz: We hope that “Hezbollah” will not drag Israel into an armed conflict, and we do not rule out an attack on Iran if necessary

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz addressed the conflict over Lebanon’s maritime boundary, emphasising that Israel has stated that it will preserve its resources and is willing to strike deals with the Lebanese government.
Benny Gantz also expressed his hope that Hezbollah will not lure Israel into a war.
In response to the latest developments in the Iran nuclear agreement discussions, Gantz stated that Israel does not rule out a military assault on Iran if required.

It’s not a terrific arrangement; it has a lot of loopholes, and Israel will need to make sure the replies evolve before they can be used, he added.

Gantz: We hope that “Hezbollah” does not draw Israel into an armed confrontation, but a strike on Iran is not out of the question.
