Marseille defeated Nantes by a score of two to one in the third round of the Ligue 1 French Football League on Saturday.
The second half was when all of the goals were scored. After Samuel Jego was sent off in the 76th minute, Chancel Mbemba scored for the home team in the 70th minute, and Ludovic Blass equalised from the penalty spot eight minutes later.
Nicolas Balois of Nantes scored an own goal in the 82nd minute to give Marseille the victory and terminate the game (2-1).
With this victory, Marseille briefly moved up to second position and increased its score to 7 points, while Nantes temporarily fell to 14th place and had its score freeze at 2 points.
