Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky has cautioned Russia against taking aggressive action next week, when the nation celebrates its independence.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had earlier announced a special operation in Ukraine because of the Donbass, which later turned into a military conflict between the two sides and imposed sanctions on Russia.

For its part, the Albanian Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of two Russians and a Ukrainian on charges of espionage and attempting to infiltrate a military factory in the south of the country.

The ministry said in a statement carried by the American network “ABC News” today, Sunday, that a 24-year-old Russian man was arrested, after entering the factory’s territory in the “Gramsh” area, 80 km south of the capital, Tirana, and taking some pictures. Another 33-year-old Russian woman and a 25-year-old Ukrainian man were arrested outside the factory, noting that two Albanian soldiers were injured while they were trying to enter the factory.

The ministry indicated that the two injured Albanian soldiers were taken to a hospital in the capital, Tirana, to be treated for eye wounds.

In turn, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the three detainees are suspected of espionage, and members of the Albanian military police, intelligence and counter-terrorism services arrived at the scene to participate in the investigation.

For his part, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kirilenko, said on Sunday that Russian forces killed 4 civilians and wounded two others in the Donetsk region on Saturday.

Kirilenko added – in a statement posted on Telegram and carried by the Ukrainian “Ukrinform” news agency – that in general, a total of 755 civilians were killed and 1,943 injured in the Donetsk region since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine, and that it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of casualties in the Mariupol regions. and Volnovaka.
