According to Swedish Migration Minister Anders Eggman, his country’s government is willing to set limitations on the granting of visas to Russian citizens, but would not cease providing them.
“I think it would be impossible to stop altogether; it would be a mistake,” Eggman said. “On the other hand, rigorous restriction, for example, by scrapping the streamlined visa system, is what we, Estonia, Finland, and others aspire to in the European Union.”
