Guardiola: Bernardo Silva will be with us next week in Barcelona

Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City in the English Premier League, has put a stop to rumours over the sale of his Portuguese star Bernardo Silva to Barcelona.

Bernardo Silva’s name has been linked to a move to Barcelona during the current summer transfer window, as the Catalan club’s coach, Xavi Hernandez, intends to construct a team capable of challenging for the Spanish League and Champions League championships.

Guardiola, the former Barcelona manager, pushed on keeping the Manchester City playmaker at the Etihad stadium.

Bernardo Silva, 28, joined Manchester City in 2017 from Monaco, and won four titles, the English Premier League champion, among many titles with Manchester City.

Guardiola announced today, Thursday, in an interview with Catalunya Radio, that Bernardo would be in Barcelona next week, but as a player for Manchester City, when the two sides meet in a fundraiser match at the Camp Nou, saying: He’ll be on the field next Wednesday.
