General Motors’ Super Cruise technology will be available next year for 22 vehicles.

According to David Craig, a digital mapping and navigation technology specialist at General Motors, the world’s largest carmaker, the company intends to expand the use of the advanced Super Cruise self-driving system to make it available to millions of users.
The General Motors Super Cruise technology, which was debuted last year, allows the driver to control the vehicle without using their hands.

According to the Autonews website, the Sur Cruise technology is presently available in the Cadillac Escalade, CT4, CT5, XT6, GMC, Hummer, Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, and Bolt EV vehicles. GM has stated that the technology would be available on an additional 22 models during the coming year.

According to the website, General Motors will provide a limited version of the driving system in the two cars, the Bolt Euv and the Cadillac XT6, which are being sold at reduced prices, because both cars’ systems will need to be updated based on mileage because they are based on the previous generation.
The Super Cruise system ranges in price from $2,200 to 2,500 dollars.

Super Cruise requires the driver to manage the car with his hand when activating or deactivating the highway feature, and expanded maps of routes within states or between US states need the driver to control when approaching intersections with traffic lights or stop signs.

The Super Cruise technology from General Motors will be available for 22 automobiles starting next year.
