India donates $400,000 to UN trust funds for human rights.

According to India’s Permanent Mission to the UN, India has donated $400,000 to four UN trust funds that are open to donations, reiterating its dedication to defending and maintaining human rights.
These monies will be used to aid torture victims, provide technical help, carry out general periodic evaluations, and aid the least developed nations and small island developing states, according to a blog post on the Indian mission’s Twitter account.

The mission states that India strongly supports the UN’s values and goals and has significantly contributed to both the achievement of the Charter’s goals and the growth of the UN’s programmes and specialised organisations.
She continued by stating that India’s engagement in UN operations is based on its dedication to discussion and pluralism, both of which are essential for accomplishing these objectives and resolving shared difficulties.

According to the Indian mission, the United Nations and international relations norms continue to be one of the most effective ways to deal with issues like sustainable development, eradicating poverty, combating climate change, promoting peace, combating terrorism, maintaining the peace, achieving nuclear disarmament, addressing migration, protecting human rights, maintaining health, and dealing with epidemics.
